Who We Are
Our Values
As a congregation that our Savior has assembled and breathed to life, we want the following values to be integral to our Worship, Nurture, and Witness:
Generosity: We want to be characterized both individually and collectively by a surprising generosity of life and wallet. In other words, we want to live by giving ourselves away; our time, our abilities, our money, and our hearts–all in response to the monumental self-giving of our Savior for us.
Connectedness: We want to be characterized by a burden-bearing, one-anothering love where all the members of our community know they are indispensable links in a chain, deeply connected to one another and to Christ.
Prayer/Scripture Driven: We want to be characterized by dependent prayer and the God-breathed words of life found in the Scriptures so that we are sure to be animated by the very life of Christ in all that we do.
Outward Faced: We want to be characterized by a posture that is always looking beyond ourselves to bring the good news of our Savior’s reconciling mercies in both word and deed to folks in our community and throughout the world through evangelism, missions, church-planting and mercy ministries.
Family Oriented: We want to be characterized by the warmth, safety, and acceptance of a family for the married, single, divorced, or widowed. And we want to be a place where children are clearly prized as members of the family of faith. Our hope is that families will thrive in our midst as they are nourished by Christ’s word and Spirit.
