What We Believe

We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).

Believing that the Scriptures are our ultimate authority, with others in the PCA, we cheerfully embrace the Westminster Confession of Faith and The Westminster Larger and Shorter Catechisms as a strong and sturdy summary of what the Scriptures teach.

All our leaders willingly vow to “sincerely receive and adopt” these wise documents as “containing the system of doctrine taught in the Holy Scriptures.”

We aspire to make what the Bible reveals about God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit believable and beautiful in our worship of God, our nurture of one-another, and in our witness in words and deeds to our community.

Our hope is that we will not only explicitly teach what has been entrusted to us, but will be profoundly shaped and altered by it too so that anyone in our midst would have a sense that for us, the doctrines of grace, for instance, are no mere abstraction, but the very air we breathe as we seek to be a circulatory system of God’s grace for one another and the world.
